A new version of my Google Cardboard FPS is now live, with a bunch of cool features:

  • Enemies animations and corpses

My Google Cardboard FPS is out now! (Log III)

TFW No VR 3D is now live on the Android Playstore. It’s just an early version, but the fun is here. you can download it here and don’t forget to put me a 5 stars reviews. To play to the game you need a gamepad and a Google Cardboard. I own these two, working perfectly with my One Plus One phone/div>

 

Improvement
-mini map
-death screen
-different levels and incrementation of the enemies

-real animations for the enemies (shooting and death)
-secrets rooms
-bonus (speed, attack, health)
-new weapon ???

 

Maybe I should think about making a Patreon page. I definitively need money to dev on a next gen VR headset.

TFW NO VR, Log II : Gamepad Support! [UPDATE]

[UPDATED] –> the new test .APK is now faster and proper to a maximum, fun, VR experience!
>TFW NO VR is a GoogleCarboard game , mixing FPS and Rogue like.

 

Made a new version only supporting the gamepad. One button is used to fire, the other to change the weapon. There’s a bug and the button of weapon change should stay pushed till the weapon change. Remember than this game is an alpha and the graphical assets aren’t definitive.

 

Improvements:
-gamepad support
-creation of basic rooms
-explosion for the grenade enemies
-weapon changement
-take care of the range of each weapon
-items for health and weapon
-sounds for the weapon

 

Known bugs:
-restart of the game after the death isn’t proper
-issue with grenade collision
-issue with the button to change the weapon

 

Next steps:
ENEMIES AI !!!!
-minimap
-start graphic research
-interface notification when you’re hurt or you hurt an enemy

TFW NO VR, my google cardboard game!

Hi! Long time since I didn’t post a thing on the Snuffchan blog! I received my Google Cardboard headset, started to experiment it, and eventualy come with my very own google cardboard game, a hybrid between Rogue and Doom.

I am still working the gameplay, having tons neat ideas, like adding a shield appearing when you tilt the head, my biggest challenge being to produce a gameplay which use only head motion tracking. And actually, in my demo, it’s works!
This project is WIP, and I started a todo list of what I want in the prod version. The code name of this project is >TFW NO VR 3D.

THE GRAPHISM and CHARATERS ARE JUST HERE TO TEST THE GAMEPLAY. I’ve just some hint of ideas for the universe, and there will be probably very few story. I want the univers share the same goryness than Doom with also some Rogue RPG element, like fortress, inns, secret places on the map, the whole stuff with guns and cybernetic elements.

My next steps

  • a mini map (the actual map is generated randomly so it’s a critical element of gameplay)
  • a shield triggered when you tilt the head
  • creating rooms
  • creating a GameOver screen and a Winning screen.
  • weapons change
  • med-packs

The way it’s work: point the red cube to walk, point the grenades or the girls to shoot them. Don’t forget it’s a pre-alpha version for curious people, with major bug!

Black Louve : Work in Progress

So here is the exciting news : my video game got finally a code-name: Back Louve (louve mean wolf in French). The gameplay would be a rogue-like game, with a black metal oriented universe, probably taking place in Finish forest.

The game will feature human sacrifice, cannibalism, use of human remains as talisman, human hunt, cyber-warfare and lot of other cool stuff.

I don’t know if the narrative will be very developed or coherent, but one thing is sure, the main character will be Amy Wayne from my novel Dark_Net, and will set few month after her trip in Ukraine. For those who didn’t read the book, it’s tell the story of a 19 years old working as a proxy for a secret branch of the C.I.A. , the Party Van.

Game project

Dark_Net being finished, it’s time to think about my next project! I got two choices for this one, so it’s up to you!

Project 1 / Shi no Sukūru : Pantsu Division

It will be a shoot them up with a inspired by japanese Pinky Violence sub-genre and Airsoft cosplay. Basically the game will be a modern remake of the Terrifying Girls’ High School of 1972. It would be set in a very modern and perverse universe, a mix of the Akira near future and the kink of Suda 51’s games.

Items and underwears management will be an important part of the game. The game currency will be Doge coin.
Here is a list of the featured weapons:

  • Uzi
  • Mauser hunting rifle
  • S.O.L. (Solar Orbital Laser)
  • Laser gun from akira

Project 2 / Sukeban Louve

Sukeban Louve will be a dungeon crawler, very similar to dungeon fortress, mixing RPG and dojinshi element. You will play Amy Wayne, a girl hacker and abductress selling people on the black market. The game will be themed S.M. featuring nihilism, violence, male chastity device and even cannibalism. To describe the atmosphere of the game, it would be some sort of Black Metal version of GTA.

Ideas of mission:

  • Kidnapping
  • Stealing high heels and scarves for a silent fetish partner
  • Church destruction for a Satanic sect
  • Human sacrifice
  • Man hunting
